Manhattanites are being terrorized daily by drug dealers, murderers, and rapists with little recourse to defend themselves — because the one public official whose sole responsibility is to keep real criminals off the street, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, has chosen instead to protect them and prosecute those victims who defend themselves. That's exactly what has happened with Moussa Diarra, a parking garage attendant in Manhattan who bravely fended off an armed thief when he wrestled the firearm away and opened fire on the suspect. Radical and morally-corrupt prosecutor Alvin Bragg is now charging Moussa Diarra with a slew of charges, including attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, all because he chose to defend himself. There is nothing normal about this! Let's be very clear: This is what happens when you don't vote — out-of-touch, radical, activist politicians like Alvin Bragg who represent the interests of a small few are elected to office, and everyday New Yorkers are left in the dust, or worse, are painted criminals. This is not the first time that an innocent New Yorker has been wrongly charged by Alvin Bragg's office, and it's why I am calling on Governor Kathy Hochul to remove this terrible prosecutor from office using the power vested to her by the state Constitution. The Governor must do this to restore the public's trust in the justice system, otherwise, I fear that we will have an entirely different problem on our hands.
