STATEN ISLAND, NY —  Today, State Senator Andrew Lanza (R,C-Staten Island) and State Assemblymen Michael Reilly (R,C-Staten Island) and Michael Tannousis (R,C-Staten Island/Brooklyn) endorsed Sam Pirozzolo in the race for State Assembly District 63 on Staten Island.  Pirozzolo is the Republican and Conservative candidate.

“Under one-party Democrat control in Albany, streets are less safe, classrooms are failing our children, and the cost of living is skyrocketing,” said Lanza“We need a fundamental change in Albany to reset our State.  Republican-Conservative candidate for Assembly Sam Pirozzolo has been a fierce advocate for the issues that impact Staten Island families.  His small business experience, education advocacy, and support for law and order will serve our community well.”

“When we were on Community Education Council 31 together, Sam and I fought side-by-side to advocate for Staten Island’s public school students and their parents.  He was a reliable ally then, and I know he will be a reliable ally now, in Albany, where we are fighting relentlessly to restore public safety, make our state affordable again, and defend parental rights,” said Reilly.  “Sam has my total support.”

“As a member of the Assembly, I fight the continuous battles in Albany to restore common sense to our state government,” said Tannousis.  “We continue to fight to restore public safety to our streets and to make our state an attractive place to work and raise a family.  I need a partner that can fight alongside me for the betterment of our community.  Sam has proven to be that capable partner and for this reason, I endorse him for Assembly.”

“Right now, with New York under disastrous Democrat one-party rule, violent crime has skyrocketed, our quality of life has deteriorated, and the cost of living has gotten too damn high,” said Pirozzolo“As a husband, father, small business owner, and lifelong Staten Islander, I am fully aware of what is at stake in this election.  The radical and out-of-touch policies coming out of Albany have failed our community, and that’s why I am proud to have earned the support of Senator Andrew Lanza, Assemblyman Michael Reilly, and Assemblyman Michael Tannousis, who’ve proven themselves to be honest, reliable, and passionate leaders in defending the values and advocating for the priorities of our community.”
